You have the option to add a BD Vacutainer® to the PRP preparation so that the complete procedure happens in a closed system for full safety.
Please order one adapter per treatment or patient.
Application
After centrifugation, place the Vacutainer® on top of the tube (similar to when you take blood). Instead of a butterfly, attach a syringe to the Vacutainer®.
Tilt the tube so that the PRP flows upwards because the needle of the Vacutainer® is relatively short.
Aspirate the PRP into the syringe and push it back to mix it up.
Once the PRP has turned cloudy, draw it into the syringe for injection.
